YOUR DOG'S FIRST DAY

We ask that new dogs and owners arrive as early as possible the first few days your dog attends.  This is to ensure the newbie is one of the first dogs here so he/she is able to gradually and comfortably ease in with the other playmates.  The Hounds Hangout staff will help your dog into their first few visits at daycare, keeping you updated with photos and emails during the day.

What You May Find When Your Dog Gets Home From Daycare...

CONTENT AND HAPPY...

Your dog has spent the day playing, socialising, exercising, wrestling and relaxing with their other doggy pals.  These can be some of the key elements to a content and fulfilled dog.

TIRED AND FULL-FILLED...

Through all the wonderful learning, play, mental and physical stimulation, your dog will be worn out at the end of the day!  Great for owners that need a bit of 'me' time after work without feeling guilty!

THIRSTY...

At The Hounds Hangout clean fresh water is available at all times.  Because of all the excitement, fun and through fear of 'missing out' some dogs will drink less during the day, please ensure you have water available for your dog when they arrive home. Some dogs will also be hungry & ready for their dinner, having worked up an appetite all day!

SORE MUSCLES...

Daycare is a great way for your dog to enjoy exercise through natural play but remember some dogs are not as fit as others.  Just like us, it can take a while for a dogs body to adjust.  Wheat packs are a great idea (not too hot and never leave the pack alone with your dog), or even a doggy massage/rub down from owners can be beneficial.
